1:20. మరు సంవత్సరం సమయానికి హన్నా గర్భవతియై, ఒక కుమారుని కని తన కుమారునికి సమూయేలు అని పేరు పెట్టింది. “వీనిపేరు సమూయేలు. ఎందుకంటే వీని కొరకు నేను యెహోవాని ప్రార్థించాను. ఆయన నా ప్రార్థన ఆలకించాడు” అని అన్నది హన్న.

1:20. గనుక హన్నా గర్భము ధరించి దినములు నిండినప్పుడు ఒక కుమారుని కనినేను యెహోవాకు మ్రొక్కుకొని వీనిని అడిగితిననుకొని వానికి సమూయేలను పేరు పెట్టెను.

1:20. After some time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, thinking, "I asked the LORD for him.

1:20. and in due time she gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, for she said, "I asked the LORD for him."

1:20. And it came to pass, when the time was come about, that Hannah conceived, and bare a son; and she called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of Jehovah.

1:20. And in due time Hannah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Samuel, for she said, "I have asked for him from the LORD."

1:20. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, [saying,] Because I have asked him of the LORD.

1:20. and in due time Hannah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Samuel, for she said, "I have asked him of the LORD."

1:20. And it came to pass, when the time was come about, that Hannah conceived, and bare a son; and she called his name Samuel, {cf15i saying}, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

1:20. and it cometh to pass, at the revolution of the days, that Hannah conceiveth, and beareth a son, and calleth his name Samuel, `for, from Jehovah I have asked him.`

1:20. By that time the following year, Hannah had become pregnant and had a son. She named him Samuel. She said, "His name is Samuel because I asked the Lord for him."

1:20. It happened, when the time was come about, that Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of Yahweh.

1:20. Wherefore it came to pass, H1961 when the time H3117 was come H8622 about after Hannah H2584 had conceived, H2029 that she bore H3205 a son, H1121 and called H7121 H853 his name H8034 Samuel, H8050 [saying] , Because H3588 I have asked H7592 him of the LORD H4480 H3068 .
